 Controller (Full-Time)

At Resilient, the Controller’s role is to analyze and lead the overall financial functions of the company’s business ventures. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Management Team, the Controller is responsible for mapping out, reporting on and driving the financial analysis and actions plans of our growth. You will be managing our expanding Finance Department and have access to a team of external legal and/or tax advisors.
Core Responsibilities
  • Preparing budgets for review by Management and monitoring those budgets on tight timelines
  • Forecasting with Management Team for future growth, cash flow and expenditures
  • Building complex financial reporting models and analyzing data
  • Overseeing and reviewing A/P, A/R, Treasury and Administration
  • Engaging strategic approaches to financial roadblocks
  • Reviewing capacity planning and inventory costing with the Operations Team
  • Recommending and implementing cost-effective and efficient changes to accounts, reports and administrative processes
  • Providing guidance and encourage growth development to staff by serving as an informal mentor
 Minimum Qualifications
  • Financial Designation (CA, CGA, CMA)
  • 3+ years experience in Controller or Sr. Accounting role reporting to CFO/VP of Finance
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Businesses with manufacturing operations
  • Experience in product-oriented eCommerce businesses including the acquisition and maintenance of merchant accounts
  • P&L Ownership/Management
  • Previous experience working with small, medium or large scale ERP
  • CRA or cross border tax experience
  • SRED/IRAP experience
  • Working in a highly fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong problem solving skills and cognitive abilities
