Director of Key Initiatives

Working closely with and reporting to the CEO of Resilient Management, the Director of Key Initiatives is the person who brings all the right pieces and people together to get the job done. As the Director, you will work with our Executive team in order to strategically plan, efficiently execute and finalize a range of organizational and large-scale projects. With a background of project management and marketing, you will ensure the deliverables are completed on time and on budget while tracking metrics as they relate to the project’s success.
Core Responsibilities (but not limited to)
  • Collaborating with other senior management colleagues to ensure collaboration across the organization while assessing risk, profitability, and ROI while identifying and recommending possible changes in policies and/or operating procedures
  • Working with the Director of Operations to streamline and execute a smooth-flowing operational process – organizational procedures, strategy, KPI’s, talent management
  • Monitoring adherence to budget targets, forecasting revenue projections and reporting regularly to the CEO with management reports, financial updates, recommendations and action plans
  • Working with project managers in succeeding in the growth of certain products in varying fields such as biotechnology, consumer goods and hospitality
    • Overseeing all aspects of each project: Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance
    • Delegating roles to our expanding team of motivated and hard-working individuals
  • Providing direction, guidance and support to team members and motivating staff to achieve a high level of performance and productivity
  • Representing the company with professionalism while finding new opportunities for our company to grow in
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completed Post-secondary Education in Business Administration, Project Management or in a related discipline
  • Experience in working with high performance leaders in operations, recruiting, chief of staff and/or high level executive assistant roles with innovative driven leaders
  • 5+ years in a Management/Leadership capacity
  • 5+ years working with operational leadership - implementing processes, cost-effective strategies, KPIs, etc
    • Demonstrated past success in managing and increasing revenues and profit margins - strong financial management skills
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning
  • Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
    • Ability to think fast on your feet! You are a master juggler of priorities
    • Ability to be self-driven with many projects
    • Interpersonal skills are a must - you have thick skin and can deal with direct, sometimes challenging, people while being able to work under high pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically in Excel and strong computer skills
  • Positive and passionate personality
