OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
 
Being in operations means facilitating movement and ensuring the smooth flow of multiple business ventures. If you are a team player, who is able to work on various manufacturing projects and find accomplishing tight deadlines rewarding, this job is the next career move for you!
 
Reporting to both the Head of Operations, the Operations Assistant’s day involves organizing functions, providing administrative supports to the operations and sourcing for various commodities. You will be a part of the Operations Team by creating cost-effective strategies, implementing procedures and analyzing logistics.
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Creating new system designs and implementation
  • Sourcing and the procurement of various commodities and manufacturing companies
  • Managing supply chain procedures
  • Building vendor relationships by participating in vendor evaluations, corresponding with a variety of vendors and resolving discrepancies
  • Scheduling multiple planning and budgeting meetings
  • Aggressively seeking and recommending cost-effective initiatives
  • Keeping the team up-to-date with market conditions and forecasts
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar Operations/Logistic role
  • Negotiation and purchasing skills
  • Problem-solver (being able to creatively solve complex challenges)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator - written, verbal and technical
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Ability to multi-task and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
