Operations and Supply Chain Manager
Running a smooth operation is challenging and not for the weak of heart. Resilient Management is in search of a determined and goal-oriented Operations and Supply Chain Manager. As our Operations Manager, your mission will be to own all aspects of operational excellence with a focus on logistics and supply chain management. You will be the right-hand man/woman to our Director of Operations as your job entails overseeing the flow of our consumer goods and co-leading the amazing Operations team at our Vancouver office.
Core Responsibilities (but not limited to)
  • Creatively solving complex problems with our expanding and diverse Operations team. The more unknown variables, the better! Vendor performance, logistics delays, quality control, risk assessment - this is your wheelhouse for finding solutions
  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of the procurement process of various consumer goods
  • Providing accurate and detailed reports with strategic-level recommendations
  • Ensuring contractual compliance with all vendors
  • Tracking market trends to make accurate forecasts so that costs are kept tight and inventory is readily available
  • Motivating and engaging team members while providing insights and training when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of similar experience in a operational and managerial capacity
  • Strong negotiating, problem-solving and purchasing skills with demonstrated experience
  • Experience in the CPG industry and manufacturing
  • Experience in sourcing from and working with international businesses/vendors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically in Excel and strong computer skills/software navigation
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of purchasing principles and legal components regarding any operational activities
  • A deep passion for continuous quality improvement and a knack to execute with little supervision
  • Worked previously with budgeting and the communication of financial metrics and other KPIs for operations
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to constantly changing priorities
  • An amazing ‘CAN DO’ attitude
