The Role
Resilient Management is in search of a bright and determined paralegal to aid our team with any legal matters in various fields of work. Working under the Executive Team, the paralegal is responsible for the assistance of drafting, reviewing and revising all of our company’s agreements, contracts and any legal documents. You will be working with outside counsel to bring legal stability to our company’s ventures. 
  • Creating, managing and maintaining a database of our global employment contracts, vendor and partner agreements, copies of filings/pleadings and other legal documents
  • Reviewing and summarizing commercial agreements, licenses, insurance and leasing contracts, legal correspondence with a keen eye to detail 
  • Drafting and responding to undertakings
  • Recommend legal strategies regarding certain contracts, agreements and situations needing a legal background to the Executive team 
  • Collaborating cross-functionally, working with in-house and outside counsel to gather, research, analyze, and produce information responsive and/or related to subpoenas, investigations, litigation, commercial property, human resources and other issues
  • Conduct research and prepare succinct business-focused summaries of findings with various departments 
  • Paralegal Certificate/Diploma 
  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal 
  • High capacity to effectively manage and prioritize multiple demands from a variety of sources 
  • Creative problem-solver - you can find solutions to complex situations and are goal-oriented 
  • Strong communication skills - written, legal, and technical
  • Possess a high level of professionalism, confidence and integrity with the ability to build relationships and interface successfully cross-departmentally and with outside counsel
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong computer skills 
  • Self-starter - can work efficiently with minimum supervision 
  • Experience with cross-border and international agreements (optional)

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
